My qualifications include:

• three years of hands-on teaching about ecology
• trained as a docent at the San Francisco Botanical Gardens @ Strybing Arboretum in Golden Gate Park, SF
• trained in ecological interpretation with the National Park Service
• over a decade of academic and professional experience in botany and the environment

My emphases include:

• Ecological education for K-5
• Mediterranean climate species
• Flower-Fruit-Seed: The Sex Lives of Plants
• California native plants and how humans use them
