If you read the release notes for the new charting support in ColdFusion 10, you may come across this little gem:
The following server-side charting features are not available with client-side charting:
Linking charts to URL
Writing charts to a variable
While technically correct, it is possible to add support for this with a little bit of code. Here's an demonstration of one way you can add this support back in.

I highly encourage you to check out the site and participate in the discussion. I thought I'd take a few minutes and discuss a bit about the technology in use on the site.

Also, I was looking for a tool that was a bit more, how shall we say, light weight? With that in mind, the primary editor I've been using lately is WebStorm by JetBrains. While not a free tool, it is relatively cheap, came highly recommended, and so far has been performing well. I've also been trying out Sublime Text 2.

A few weeks back I got a preview of a product that was incredible, and I'm happy to see that a public preview was launched last night. Adobe Shadow is a tool that lets you preview and inspect web sites on multiple mobile devices at once. You can use your desktop to drive the web browser on your iOS and Android devices. That by itself would be useful. But you can then also use a Chrome Dev Tools like inspection and editing feature to tweak the DOM of individual devices. None of this probably sounds nearly as cool as it looks, so take a look at the short video below:
