V8 Ranch® is home to some of the world's finest American Brahman cattle. The ranch operates in a four-county area located one hour south of Houston on approximately 5,000 acres of land both owned and leased along the Texas gulf coast. The purebred Brahman herd consists of 300 breeding age females with a large emphasis on embryo transfer. Our Brahman herd is a primarily a closed herd, with focus on linebreeding exceptional cow families since 1944. With a rich heritage of Brahman cattle breeding, we are proud to be one of the oldest continually operating Brahman herds in existence in the United States. V8 Brahman cattle are designed to fit the needs of both the purebred and commercial cattlemen. We offer high profile genetics, proven cow families, the best sires in the breed, and documented performance data, carcass ultrasound data, and carcass information on our top sire lines. We place a high emphasis on performance and production records and provide this information to all prospective buyers. We are proud to have one of the most detailed cow production record systems in the Brahman breed, with complete records dating back to 1971. Because of our intense ET program, we are able to offer our top genetics to junior exhibitors as well. In addition to our purebred herd, currently own and manage a commercial herd of 1,400 females which are part of our three-breed rotational Brahman F-1 program. While we are known for our purebred herds, we feel our experience as a commercial producer gives us an advantage as a seedstock producer since we also have more than 50 years of making a living in the commercial business. 

► Since 1944, V8 Ranch has been known for its outstanding Brahman cattle. Originally founded by Howard Parker, Sloan Williams purchased the ranch and brand in 1971. For the past 50 years members of the Williams family have worked together on the ranch with a clear goal of raising the best possible Brahman cattle in the world. Our priority was, is, and always will be breeding for success through focusing on outstanding cow families. As a hands on, working family ranch, we are very proud of the fact that V8 Ranch has been managed by our immediate family each and every day of the year. We are also proud that today, there are three-generations of our family working together daily for our combined goals of success. Through the years, God has greatly blessed us, and we believe in being good stewards of the land, and providing animals with the proper care, handling, and nutrition. We follow beef quality assurance guidelines and are advocates of the beef industry. We are active members of the American Brahman Breeders Association and enjoy talking to others who share a passion for Brahman cattle.
