Over the last couple of years, we’ve been dedicated to producing the work of Hugh Hughes. If you’ve seen one of his shows, you might like to visit his own website: www.hughhughes.me.
Hoipolloi’s work is all about engaging our audience’s imagination and sharing a story with them. Our stories take audiences on journeys where nothing is quite as it seems and fantasy blurs into reality.
We make theatre shows which reach out to audiences, both on stage and through our online digital content. Above all, our theatre shows are engaging, accessible and fun and each is a glimpse into a world of wild imagination and playful fantasy.
If you’re looking for information about our earlier work with larger ensembles, such as The Doubtful Guest or My Uncle Arly, please see the Previous Work section.
You might also like to browse around our blog, which acts as an informal archive of what we’ve been up to since 2008.
If you are interested in having Hoipolloi’s work staged at your venue or festival, the links on the left will give you more information about the shows.
We rely on the generosity of others to help us make people happier through imagination and laughter. Could you play your part and make a donation?
