Up-to-Date class offerings and fees are reflected in the online registration portion of our website. While we strive for accuracy in our Program Guide, classes may change between publication and actual registration due to early printing deadlines.
Members - Registration online and in-person, is ongoing
Members may register in-person, or online until the start of the third class session for any individual class. After that, in-person registration only is available. Class fees are pro-rated for those registering after the class is underway. Please test your user ID and PIN prior to registering for classes.
Non-Members - Registration in-person only, is ongiong
Many Non-Member Classes are available! In-person registration is available for both members and non-members from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
*There is no in-person registration available on Sundays at this time. Register for classes and membership Monday-Saturday.

The Internet Registration Link from the red "click here" button above takes links to the most up-to-date information regarding class availability for the Spring Session. If a class is not listed in the Registration section online, it is no longer available for Spring 2011 Session registration. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Returning Member? Members are encouraged to use the convenient online registration system and to test their User ID and PIN prior to registering. Member Services staff at the Y may be reached at 973-822-9622, ext. 2221 for assistance and to answer registration questions.
Not yet a member? Prospective members are welcome to take a tour of the facility, and join the Y at the Welcome Center Monday through Friday 8:30am to 8:30pm, and Saturdays until 6:00pm.
2011 Membership Option: Join the Madison Y with a Youth Membership for $23/month and pay NO initiation fee.

SPORTS

NEW ENRICHMENT CLASSES:
Kids Sign Time (7 - 10yrs.)
Learn the Art of Sign and the beauty it offers to language. You will learn the alphabet, pronouns, people, the days of the week, finger spelling, and more. Each section of the class will learn and practice age-appropriate words and phrases.
Fairy Tale Legos (4 - 6 yrs.)
Legos will live happily ever after in this fun class! Spend time building castles, dragons, knights, princesses and more as we read our favorite fairy tales!
Outdoor Survival (Gr. 6 - 8)
We’ll learn the basics of outdoor survival: shelter building, purifying water, signaling for help, basic first aid, fire building and more, all on YMCA property!
Big City Legos (Ages 5 - 8 years)
From the great cities of Roman times, to the modern marvels of today, well learn about and build cities from around the world. Join us as we work together to build cities or take on the challenge of building a skyscraper!
Sewing for Little Hands (5 - 6yrs. and 9 - 11yrs.)
Children will learn to thread a needle, tie a knot, sew a running stitch, whipstitch, hem stitch, create and use a pattern. They will stuff a pillow/softie and make other age appropriate projects.
NEW GYMNASTICS CLASSES:
Gym and Art (4 - 5yrs.)
Gym and Art offers your child a fun-filled 1/2 hour of basic gymnastics instruction and a 1/2 hour in our Art classroom to create works of art!
Adult Open Work Out (16+yrs.)
This is an opportunity for individuals who have a gymnastics background to maintain their skills and utilize our state of the art gymnastics equipment. The gymnastics center will be supervised by a staff member during this 1 hour work out session.
Acro (4 - 5yrs. & 6+yrs.)
Acrobatic Gymnastics favors body control in various positions, both on the ground and in the air, combining the strength, flexibility and technical precision of gymnastics with the grace and musicality of dance.
Gymnastics Family Play
The fun continues for families who would like to utilize our state of the art preschool gymnastics equipment circuit under the supervision of a staff member without participating in our traditional parent/child classes. This is a parent/child play time for children under the age of 5.
T & T (5+yrs.)
If your child loves to bounce, jump, flip and have fun then this is the class for them. This sport is practiced both by women and men. Participants go along the tumble track performing various elements without interruption. Only the feet and hands make contact with the track.
Hot Shots (by invitation only)
This is an advanced placement class for our children under age 5. Kim’s permission required for registration x. 2268.

Program Policies
•Program credits may be requested up until the start of the third class. An internal credit that can be used towards any YMCA program or service will be issued. After the start of the third class, no credit will be issued. Participants are charged for all classes on a pro-rated basis from the time the credit application is received.
•Additionally, a $10 processing fee will be charged for all requests. We do our best to expedite requests, however, credits may take up to 3 weeks to process. Redemption: Once approved, your credit may be applied to any YMCA service or program. When redeeming credits, please inform the front desk staff prior to payment that you have an existing credit on file.
•Program refunds will only be issued if the YMCA cancels a program, with a signed medical excuse from a physician. Credits expire one year from date of issue.
