YBucks Promotion Runs from February 15 - March 12
$10 YBucks per child per week registered for camp. Must register for 2 or more weeks of camp. YBucks may be used for camp payments or other program fees. YBucks may not be used on camp deposit, towards Kirby Childcare, or towards Membership dues. YBucks are transferable within household family members. YBucks have no cash value and are non-refundable. YBucks available to full-pay weeks only. Not applicable for children of full time YMCA employees.

Raffle Promotion runs from February 13 April 16
One (1) entry per child per week of camp to win a free week of camp. 5 winners will be chosen. Only 1 winner per family can be chosen. Must register for 2 or more weeks of camp. Winning camp week is transferable within household family members. Valid only for 2012 camp.

Summer Day Camps

MADISON AREA YMCA SUMMER DAY CAMPS... for all ages and interests!

Little Bit of Camp Wantago (children 3 years old by May 2012 through 5 years old entering kindergarten)
9 weekly Sessions from June 25-August 24, from 9am – 2pm. To register for Little Bit of Camp Wantago, kids must be reliably potty trained (no pull ups). At Little Bit of Camp Wantago, the emphasis is on lots of learning and fun recreational opportunities. A nutritious lunch and snack provided daily for all children.

Camp Wantago (children who are entering Grades K through 3)
10 weekly sessions from June 25-August 30, from 9am – 4pm. Camp Wantago has activities for everyone! From preschoolers to 3rd graders, the coolest place to spend hot summer days is at the F.M. Kirby Children’s Center. Kids just love it! Plus, there is no children’s day camp that offers greater peace of mind or is better geared for young children than the Madison Area Y’s Camp Wantago. Weekly field trips and breakfast (for children arriving before 8:30am), lunch and snacks are provided.

KidsQuest (older youth grades 3-5)
Join us for a brand new Quest this summer! Choose from five different specialty themed weeks or participate in them all! Each week will combine our theme program with camp favorites like arts & crafts, sports and swimming. Weekly field trips will reflect the week’s focus. Campers will choose elective activities for flexibility in creating a camp experience that goes beyond expectations. Out program emphasizes the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility; and these values are reinforced in every week of camp. Campers will grow and discover new interests that will last a lifetime.

SummerQuest (teens entering grades 6-10)
SummerQuest is a teen travel day camp for teens entering grades 6-10. This on-the-go day camp offers daily trips and a weekly overnight. Choose one of our popular SummerQuest programs, or our new and improved Adventure Weeks. SummerQuest campers will camp in various state parks in New Jersey. Adventure Weeks are four re-imagined weeks that will bring new adventure to your summer. Smaller groups will allow for new activities and experiences.

Counselor in Training (CIT) program (teens entering grades 10 -11)
The CIT program at the YMCA will provide training for teens entering grades 10-11 to be camp counselors. This is a hands-on experience where CITs work directly with our new KidsQuest Camp at the Family Center. Attend one of the training weeks, June 25-29 or July 23-27 and then choose which weeks you would like to help at camp.

Clinics: One and two-week gymnastics, dance and sport-specific clinics are also offered for preschool and school aged children.
