Here are a few songs from our new album The Ghost of Mose, recorded and produced by Joebass Dejarnette.
Chinatown
Ms Anastasia sings most of this classic, and near the end, Steven pipes in with some faux Sino-Yiddish. And check out Berkeley & Dorsey on the horns!
Whenever You’re Lonesome
Ms Anastasia plays her resonator ukulele and sings this hit from 1922. Hugh bows bass, and Fred & Dorsey chime in on reso mando and muted trumpet.
Margie
Fred channels his best Al Jolson and takes us back to the old days.
Drifting
Take a deep breath, close your eyes and be transported to a beach in Maui. Hugh plays his 1930 National tricone in the old school Hawaiian way on this one. Check out the woos at the end.
