Step 1:

Click to receive more information from GIA. Click to receive information on GIA's free Retailer Locator feature that will appear on the 4Cs app for consumers -- a locator service for retailers who offer diamonds graded by GIA or have GIA-trained sales associates on staff.

Step 2:

Click "Download" to receive an email with a Username and Password. The email will be sent to the address you provided.

The GIA 4Cs App -- Retailer Edition is for iPad only. You will need to access the email from your iPad to download the app directly to your device.

A Wi-Fi connection is recommended for the download as the app file is 22 MB.

(App installation requires iOS 4.3 or greater)

GIA's 4Cs iPad app for retailers uses the latest technology to engage customers in a conversation about the 4Cs of diamond quality and educate them at the same time.

Designed to be used at point of sale, the app features:

Video and content highlighting the different aspects of the 4Cs
Interactive tools to educate customers about how GIA grades color, clarity, cut, and carat weight
Guidance on using the GIA grading scales and how grades can affect a diamond's value
Information about fluorescence, diamond treatments, and synthetics
Direct access to GIA Report Check - GIA's online database of GIA reports, where contents of a GIA report can be viewed and verified directly from the iPad
