My Wine Credentials
At the nascence of the dot com bubble, when I worked with a lot of highly paid engineers, I was lured into a life of gourmet lunches, gourmet magazines, and gourmet wines. Since the bust, and then the economic collapse in 2008, I've had to scale back my expectations, which is a good thing - the wines we dined on in the '80s that cost $30 a bottle are now going for more than $60. But it gave me an education on food, wine, and how to hold your alcohol so the bosses wouldn't notice - an education that I wouldn't have found anywhere else. So thanks, guys!-

About Me
I had a really in-depth bio here…but it sounded way too pompous. So here’s what I came up with when I did my Goodreads bio – and I really like it. Enjoy!
I’m old enough to know better and young enough to enjoy breaking some rules. I love cats, demons, witches, vampires and some angels. And gardening. Oh, and cooking, and wine. And I totally adore teenagers.
For some reason, I’m constantly drawn into conversations that start with protecting ourselves from a zombie apocalypse, and spiral out from there. So you can see why I’m a writer.
