Water Source Calculation (1 Hr)

With the watering restrictions and constraints of todays world, it is important to get a full understanding of how much water will be required for a project, what the logical and efficient watering source should be, what watering windows are required and how long it will take to water a site, and how to maximize efficiency by fine tuning the mainline and source size and flows. This course will indicate how to do all of that at the very start of the design process and without laying out a single head or emitter.

This webinar will specifically cover:
1. Rules of Thumb for understanding the general constraints for evaluation of the irrigation system including water meter, service line, remote control valves, mainline pipe, and backflow devices.

2. Water source determination at the earliest stages of irrigation design. How to quickly determine the flow requirements and a logical and efficient water source.

3. Watering window and hydro-zone requirements at the start of the design process. How long will it take to irrigate a site based on the hydro-zones, the type of equipment desired, and how the source and the size of the mainline can affect this outcome, all at the early stages of design.

Drip Irrigation Featuring Antelco (1 Hr 20 min)

The Drip irrigation webinar will be reviewing the process that Irrigation F/X uses to create complete drip irrigation plans. Review the Irrigation F/X classifications on drip irrigation systems, how to add them to your project, and place them into the drawing. All piping, pipe sizing, and error checking will also be reviewed. This webinar will highlight using the Antelco irrigation product line, and some interesting ways Antelco deals with dripline systems.

Schematic Irrigation (42 min)

Schematic Irrigation is an amazing tool for early planning of an irrigation system and analyzing the initial flow and pressure requirements. This might be an in-house analysis before beginning head layout, or an early submittal as required for the project, or even a clear direction of the irrigation plan for the contractor to implement with head placement.
