No phone. No fax. No TV. Get away from
it all and escape to the Dingle Peninsula.
Couminole, Dingle Peninsula, County
Kerry, Ireland has been called "the most beautiful spot in the
world" by National Geographic Explorer.
Couminole Cottage, constructed before
the Great Famine, is a beautifully restored traditional Irish cottage.
Located on Slea Head Drive, it overlooks Dingle Bay and The Blasket
Islands. The cottage is one of the most photographed and painted
houses in Ireland and has been featured on postcards, calendars,
magazines, and books since 1929.
Upon acquiring this pre-famine relic,
Susan DeColaines and Bill Swanson spent years in the challenging
and exciting project of rehabbing it from near-ruins into a house
of modern convenience.
