Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) are local organizations that develop and promote services and options to maximize independence for elders, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers. Washington has thirteen AAAs comprising county governments, regional councils, and tribes. A citizen advisory council guides the work of each AAA.
