Rock Creek Ramble Navigation Weekend and 10-Hour RaceSave the Date: April 7-8, 2012, Sprague, WA
More details and registration will be available soon. April 9, 2011 ResultsThe Rock Creek Ramble is a team adventure you won't want to miss! Plan and follow a route on foot to as many of the 45 checkpoints marked on the map as you can in your chosen time limit. Go for 4 hours, 7 hours, or the full 10 hours. Participate solo in the 4-hour event or go in a team of 2-5 in the 7-hour or 10-hour. There will be a mix of checkpoint difficulties, with most checkpoints requiring some off-trail, cross-country navigation. The open nature of the terrain makes the area more forgiving to less experienced cross-country navigators than a forested area, however novices would find this event quite challenging, so some prior navigation experience is recommended. MerGeo is also producing the Three15er 24-Hour, September 29-30, Naches, WA in rolling to hilly, eastside forest and open land. This event will feature both the classic 24-Hour format and shorter time options, and North American Championships status is being sought for this race.
