SUBMIT YOUR HOME-HAUNT & SHARE YOUR BACKYARD CREATION WITH THE WORLD!

THANK YOU!  SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

Hello! First off, tremendous thanks for the truly overwhelming response. We were surprised to receive hundreds of applications from various haunters and spookhouse proprietors across the US and beyond.

As much as we’d love to cover all of these haunts and more in our documentary, we’re of course limited by various cold realities like distance, budget, etc. Be assured that if we had a billion dollars and a private jet plane, we’d be at all of your doorsteps within minutes. However, for this round, it ended up that we had to focus on just a handful of Halloween enthusiasts in the northeast US, and we’re still making some tough choices on who’ll be part of the final cut.

Now, if we weren’t able to include you this time, there’s still a strong chance that your haunt will be celebrated in the future. Ideally, this project will go over well and we’ll be given the opportunity to focus on other haunters all over the map for future productions. We’re holding onto all the submissions we received and hope to expand this into an annual series. For updates on this, feel free to keep an eye on our Facebook page here: on.fb.me/oRSS4z.

Last but not least, we sincerely salute your hard work and initiative in putting on your home haunts. The tremendous majority that we saw offered tremendously unique thrills, scares and unrelenting fun, all assembled for the sheer love of Halloween. It’s an incredibly rare thing for people to work hard for no financial return, and the fact that so many people pour their efforts into this is genuinely inspiring. It’s why we wanted to make this movie in the first place, and – most importantly – why millions of people love this season more than any other time of year.

Thank you for making Halloween incredible, and we hope to meet you soon!
