Physicians increasingly recommend alternative practices to counter stress-related health issues. Studies continue to acknowledge the mind-body connection in certain forms of depression, anxiety, weight gain, chronic fatigue, insomnia, migraines, memory problems, irritability, and relationship difficulties.

History

OM Sanctuary is the new owner of the iconic, former Richmond Hill Inn. The 54-acre property of the country inn includes a Garden Pavilion, Croquet Cottages, Carriage House, expansive gardens, and walking trails.

RiverLink

As OM Sanctuary awaits the approval of their IRS 501(c)(3) status, they thank RiverLink, Inc. for stepping in as the interim fiscal agent for tax-deductible donations earmarked for OM Sanctuary. Both organizations realized their closely aligned desire to promote health and well-being on an individual and community level.

OM Sanctuary's acreage is outlined by the French Broad River, one of the waterways RiverLink works to protect and enhance. Since 1987, RiverLink's Riverway Plan has successfully implemented strategies to bring recreation, the arts, health, rejuvenation, and promotion of conservation to our waterways as well as mixed-use, mixed-income development along multi-modal transportation corridors.
