Perfect is one of the most refreshing younger voices on today's Reggae/ Dancehall scene. He is full of energy. Similar to Romain Virgo, Perfect has been an ambitious performer from an early age, since he was nine years old. He also has a good natured character on and off the stage. There is an intriguing charisma about Perfect when he performs.

BIOGRAPHY: ROMAIN VIRGO
In 2007, Romain Virgo made history as the youngest contestant ever to win Digicel Rising Stars, Jamaica's talent competition, at the age of 17. Virgo was sensational throughout the 2007 competition and outshone his opponents with singing skills that seemed to stretch beyond the talent of a 17 year old.

By 2009, his career was definitely on the rise. His single Can't Sleep did well on the Jamaican charts and also gained him attention internationally. Love Doctor on the Automatic riddim is already getting loads of airplay as well as his single Wanna Go Home.
Romain Virgo manages to build his musical career while still doing a five-year bachelor's degree in performance at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in Kingston, studying for a major in voice and a minor in keyboards. This education assures that Romain's performance will have a solid foundation. It already helped to earn him a performance at the 2009 Rebel Salute and performances at numerous well known dancehall parties in Kingston such at Passa Passa in Tivoli gardens and Weddy Weddy at Stone Love's Headquarters in Kingston.

Romain Virgo is well on his way to becoming another great Reggae legend with his lustrous voice and smooth delivery. In 2010, Romain opened for Capleton on an Eastern US tour, touring states such as New York, Connecticut, Boston, North Carolina, Chicago, Kentucky, Colorado and New Mexico. Romain said his main priority on that tour was to promote his new album.
"I've just been out there promoting my album and getting familiar with the fans and having them in turn get familiar with my music; it's been going really well so far. I want to use every opportunity to make my fans proud."

When preparing to shoot the video for his hit single Taking You Home, on Donovan Germain's Big Stage riddim, Romain said "Taking You Home was on my self-entitled album and the reception has been great, so we decided to do a video for it. The video for the single is being directed by Crew Media Inc."

With hard work, Romain is taking it one step at a time spreading his music to the world. He is very busy now doing shows in diverse places, letting the people know what he has to offer. Romain has also done the festival circuit and toured in Europe where the fans are loving and embracing him.

BIOGRAPHY: PERFECT
Perfect, the 'Hand Cart Bwoy,' is one of the most powerful, intriguing and refreshing voices on today's Reggae/ Dancehall scene. Born Greg Rose, he grew up in the cool hills of Bamboo in the parish of St. Ann. His father owned several juke-boxes, giving him full exposure to the rhythms of Jamaica. He counts Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Toots Hibbert as some of his early favorites.

From as early as nine years old he was a primary school entertainer. This stardom exploded as he entered York Castle High and by the eighth grade he was a superstar, performing regularly at school concerts. After leaving high school, Perfect went to Kingston to get a first-hand understanding of the music business, spending time at studios like Penthouse, King Jammys and Arrows while he fine-tuned his art. Returning to St. Ann, he started appearing at dances and stage shows every chance he could, causing his popularity to soar until his name was on everyone's lips.

Determined to break into mainstream recording, Perfect released Sweet and Black, an album with a blend of classical and refreshingly new, soul-reaching messages. The airwaves were blazing with the smash hits 'Hand Cart Bwoy,' 'Amerimaka' and 'No Badda Mi' from his 2006 album release Giddimani on the Tad's label in the U.S. and DHF Records in Europe. He has already been recognized with awards, placing third in IRIE FM's Big Break competition in 2003. He was making regular show appearances, and "locked up" Sumfest with a scintillating performance on Dancehall Night in 2004.

Early 2008 saw the release of Perfect's 2nd album, Born Dead with Life on Irievibra-tions Records. A concept album concerned with the history of slavery, the album has gotten extraordinary reviews and reveals a deeply personal side of the artist. Additionally, he has continued to release hit singles on all the hottest rhythms making the radio and dancehall rounds in Jamaica.

A collection of love tune singles made up Perfect's 2009 album, Karma. With lots of popular tunes on familiar riddims, Karma was the beginning of a shift towards the alt/pop world.

In 2010 Perfect released the multi-genre album French Connection, produced by Sherkhan for Tiger Records/Chalice Palace Music. Released in Europe through IrieVibra-tions once again, the album contains a hidden track that will bring the alt/pop world to Perfect's door, "Forget Everything",a single released late February 2010 by Zojak World Wide. 2011 promises to be a big year for Perfect with projects on deck with both established label Lustre Kings and upcomers Dynasty Records.

A Rastafarian, Perfect's lyrics are deep and straight forward, yet unforgettably melodious, leaving you to Listen over and over. Simply put, he keeps his lyrics real and unapologetically uses music as his medium for education and self-awareness. He has extensively toured Europe, appearing at all the major festivals as well as performing on the east coast USA at large stageshows and in 2008 made his first west coast USA tour stretching from Los Angeles to Seattle. In 2009 Perfect's schedule included a European tour alongside Fanton Mojah, a tour in France alongside Gyptian, two appearances in Amsterdam, a west coast USA tour with I-Wayne and another west coast USA tour alongside Pressure Buss Pipe. 2010 Perfect appeared for USA tours as well as multi European tours that included festivals, Reggae Camp and Ruhr Reggae Summer.

2011 Perfect performed on Reggae on the River where he was so well received that they brought him back to the Mateel Community Center to headline their Harvest Fest show. Perfect is now a fresh young musical force on the rise.
