Dana and her husband Matt (matthew candler.com) reside with their four kids in Kansas City, MO (thecandlers.com) where they have been a part of the IHOP Missions Base senior leadership team from the very beginning. Besides her main occupation of being a Mom of three marvelous children, Dana has participated as a singer, a prayer leader, and is the author of the books Deep unto Deep, Entirety, Mourning for the Bridegroom, and also a contributing author of The Rewards of Fasting by Mike Bickle. Matt currently serves as the Academic Dean as well as an instructor at the Forerunner Music Academy.
Matt and Dana have been part of the Forerunner School of Ministry (FSM) faculty at IHOPU for many years teaching various courses. Matt has taught courses such as the The Way of Intimacy, Hymns of Revelation and the Apostolic Prayers, Romans: Theology of Holy Passion, the Life of David, and more. Dana has taught courses on the Song of Songs, Fasted Lifestyle, and more. Currently they have one course available for audit or credit online called The Way of Intimacy at the IHOPU Global Equipping Center (GEC).
The passion of Dana’s heart is to give all of her days to the pursuit and declaration of the beauty and love of Jesus, calling a generation of lovesick worshippers to give their lives freely in loving return to Him, preparing the way for His Coming.
