3 Hidden Factors That Influence The Kind Of Clients, Income And Opportunities You Attract

spacer Have you ever wondered why some women entrepreneurs attract awesome high end clients, lucrative partnerships, juicy speaking gigs, spaces on the best telesummits… as if by magic?

Would you like to be one of them?

With all the steps and moving pieces to running a business, it’s easy to get caught up in the outer game, like marketing, your fees, your team, your launches… and your never-ending to-do list.  Truth is, your marketing can be “perfect” on the surface and yet still you’re not experiencing the results.  What gives?

The key to creating what you need when you need it is being in alignment – not just with the outer game like marketing, but with everything in your life.  And that’s where the little things matter, big time.

Here, then, are 3 “hidden factors” – things that you might not be aware of but, if you’re experiencing them, are definitely affecting your ability to attract the right clients and opportunities into your life:

Hidden Factor #1: The words you speak to yourself, day in and day out

When I hired my first coach, I was at an all-time low in my life.  It’d been 2 years since I’d left my “soul-sucking job” and I had nothing to show for it but a mountain of debt and a shattered self-esteem.  In one session after a particularly bad day, I had to empty out (okay, rant), which my coach let me do for about 2 minutes before gently interrupting me:

“Elizabeth, listen to what you’re telling yourself.  Do you really want to be ‘scrambling and running’?”

How about you?  Do you really want to tell yourself you’re too busy, you don’t have time, that your clients won’t pay?  Of course not.  And the reason why is, whether you’re consciously aware of it or not, you will embody the words you tell yourself, day in and day out.  And what you embody is what you ultimately attract.

To shift what you’re telling yourself starts with awareness.  Try this simple exercise: for one day, keep a small notebook next to you as you’re working.  As you notice what thoughts come up, just jot them down – with no judgment or “charge.”  Then pick just one message to consciously change.  Shifting just one of these phrases will create dramatic changes in your experience very quickly.

(The first words I eliminated from my vocabulary?  “I can’t afford it” !)

Hidden Factor #2: What’s in your space?

What’s in your space?  Are you surrounded by items of beauty, that lift you up, that make you feel great?  Or are you surrounded by stacks of paper, unfinished projects, and remnants of the old you?

To attract new clients and opportunities, first you have to create space. There’s simply no room for the good stuff if you’re surrounded by clutter, or things that are not in alignment with the highly paid coach, expert or mentor you are becoming.  Pick one section of your space – I recommend your office or workspace –  grab a garbage or recycling bag and clear out all the “stuff” you no longer need, want or use.

There are two powerful energetic principles at work here: like attracts like, and nature abhors a vacuum. Once you have space, you will be amazed at the kinds of opportunities that appear. Power tip: you don’t have to say yes to everything.  Take care to make sure what stays in your space is what you truly want.

Hidden Factor #3: Your receive-ability

If a client wanted to give you $10,000 tomorrow, would you be set up to receive it?  Do you have the business structures in place, like a merchant account accepting all 4 major credit cards (and no, Paypal or Square doesn’t count) and the appropriate agreements?  Do you have a high-end program that they can step into?

If you want more clients, income and opportunities, the channels have to be open.  I’ve never forgotten this lesson from an early mentor: “Don’t make it hard for people to give you money!”

It’s normal to feel some resistance when it comes to taking care of the “money stuff” that needs to be in place to accept higher fees.  What’s important is making the choice to move through it.  Opening the channels sends a powerful signal to the Universe that you are ready to receive.  (And yes, that includes letting the dude at the store carry your groceries!)

When Creating Results In Your Business, The “Little Things” Add Up To A Lot

The “little things” like the words you say, what you have around you, and how you handle money may not seem like they matter, but in fact, they have a profound affect on what you’re attracting in your life.  The beauty of Feminine Magic is that it’s not about doing more, but choosing to focus on the small actions that bring you into alignment so you can create what you want with ease.  Which of these 3 simple steps will you implement today to create more success and freedom in your business?

Want my all-time favorite energetic tip to attract clients, income and opportunities to you… like magic?  It’s no coincidence that once I started doing this every day (it takes as little as 5 minutes), my business took off.  And I still practice it every day to keep the flow going.  I’m sharing this secret (and so much more!) on my “Art of Feminine Magic” training call taking place on THURSDAY, MARCH 15 at 3pm PT.  It’s all new content, no-cost and really juicy, so join me?  Reserve your seat now in this complimentary training, including the recording.

Divine Feminine Entrepreneur Spotlight: Bonnie Salamon

“Two high-end 2-day intensives and my first live event!”

spacer “Before working with Elizabeth, I had been struggling with understanding the true value of the work that I offer my clients.  I knew I needed to charge more, but I struggled with the idea that my teachings and life experiences should be valued at a much higher rate than I had been charging.   For my clients, identifying and committing to their life purpose (the transformation I provide) is priceless!   So I had to find a new belief in myself, claim the true value of the work and charge accordingly.

After my initial strategy appointment with Elizabeth, I designed my first VIP program and signed my first private coaching client – before our work together even began!  Then I developed two other VIP programs and successfully enrolled two high-end 2-day group intensives.

These successes inspired the creation of my first major live event, The Nourished Soul, complete with 150+ attendees, vendors and 18 presenters!  If someone had said a year ago that I would do this, I wouldn’t have believed it.  (Talk about Life Purpose! )

I am grateful to my mentors, especially Elizabeth for her confidence in me, and for her many teachings that enabled me to step out of my comfort zone, and into the work I was meant to do.  And, I thank Spirit for the strength and insights to carry through on my dream.”

Are You An “Accidental Creator” In Your Business?

spacer I’ve long said that entrepreneurship is one of the best magical tools there is, and the reason why is simple: the possibility of money and time freedom.  Ultimately, your business is a means by which you can create your life, exactly as you wish to live it.

Problem is, just because you go into business for yourself doesn’t mean you leave your old stories at the door!   One of the biggest challenges you’ll ever face as an entrepreneur is undoing years of conditioning that’s designed to keep you in a JOB, playing small and staying safe. For most women, the old patterns lead to creating some very unpleasant situations: wild swings in their income, clients who push their boundaries, overwhelm, and money drama.

As a woman, you are a master manifestor!  But until you switch from creating by accident to creating with deliberation, you’ll continue to create situations you don’t want and wonder how you got there.   How do you get out of “accidental creator” mode?  Start with these 3 steps…

Get clear – and get real – on your true desires.

3 Tell-Tale Signs That It’s Time To Raise Your Fees

spacer When it comes to fees and charging, most spiritual women feel a lot of conflict. We’re spiritual, we’re women… it’s a double-whammy of cultural conditioning that says “give it all away.”

Thing is, this leads to women chronically undercharging and waiting far too long to charge what their work is really worth. It may feel giving and generous, but as the saying goes, you can’t give when your cup is empty. Ultimately, undercharging leaves you depleted and defeats your purpose of making a big impact in the world.

Here are 3 “dead giveaways” (and one bonus!) that both you and your clients will be better served by giving yourself a raise:

Tell-Tale Sign #1: You’re exhausted instead of juiced.

Back when I was a direct response copywriter, I would spend hours and hours and hours and hours (did I mention hours?) on projects that paid very little. Sure, the money was nice when it was coming in, but 40+ hours on the project later … let’s just say it was hard to stay motivated. And I love writing.

Doing what you love should inspire, well, love. And gratitude. If you’re not feeling the love, that’s a big clue that you’re falling far short of receiving money in alignment with the energy you’re giving – and you simply can’t sustain that for the long haul.

Is It Time To Step Up To 1-On-1 Support?

spacer Being an entrepreneur can often feel like the loneliest job on the planet.  Nobody in “the real world” gets what you’re doing, there are about a zillion new skills to learn, you’re responsible for everything, and oh yeah – every emotional trigger and hot button you have will get pushed in the process.  (Good times!)

It’s no wonder that so many women give up on their dreams of being successful, or keep themselves playing so small that they never make even a fraction of the impact they want.  But it doesn’t have to be this way!

The key to making it through the biggest challenges in your business is working very closely with someone who has “been there and done that” – a personal mentor.

Running your business is NOT a solo act.  You can try to figure it all out on your own (or piece everything together from trainings, or watching what others do) for a little while… if you like making costly mistakes.  At some point, you need someone to SHOW you the shortest, fastest path to the outcome you desire.

Hiring a personal mentor is a big decision, and it’s an investment.  And yet, waiting too long can be even more expensive.   So how do you know when it’s time to step up to 1-on-1 support?  Start by honestly answering these questions:
