Peasant Decks
With The Spoils still growing and trying to capture new players, I figured I would post some Peasant decks. A Peasant deck is constructed of ONLY common and uncommon cards. These decks will be specifically Seed and Seed 2 only. I want to lower the entry cost for new players and help them have decent decks to learn the game with. The decks I will be posting will be fun and exciting for new players and will be so without breaking the bank.
Below is a list of the Peasant decks and you can always refer back to this page for the new decks.

One of these decks will be the winner of the Best Overall Deck and two more will be chosen by you, the Spoils community, as the most creative and the best budget deck (Peasant). Everyone gets 3 votes (one vote for each deck type, Best, Creative and Peasant) and no voting on your own decks.

Thu, 03/17/2011 - 12:13 — Webmaster Today we have another grobi deck submission for your enjoyment! This peasant deck is a Warlord / Gearsmith deck that runs Alliance of Handy Weirdos as it’s faction.
This deck uses big golems like Recyclable Golem and Cowering Golem alongside cheap pump spells and the utility and power of the Warlord characters. With the Elitist’s brains and the Warlord’s skill this deck pushes forward with awesome firepower.

Inadequate Golems
Thu, 03/10/2011 - 11:37 — WebmasterToday we have a deck designed by grobi. The key interaction here is Inadequate Wand and Wanton Wizard. These two cards are bff’s for sure! You can use the wizards to stave off an attack and then bounce him before he dies to search your toolbox for either Redonkulous or Evanesce! You then have the ability to use these tactics with the knowledge that you will be able to bring them back again using the Wizard you just bounced.

Really Cheap Rage! (a basic aggro deck)
Fri, 02/25/2011 - 11:03 — WebmasterAnother common / uncommon deck. This deck is really just about dropping effcient creatures and beating face with them. Your MVPs will be Spry Archer and Robustical Badass. Utility creatures include Idol Smasher, and Plunging Shriever for item control and then Virtuous Razer for the location.
With VERY little direct damage in the game Gallant Commander can really pull off wins at the last moment.
Last we have Essence of Rage, Barrier of Benevolence, Perforate, Improvised Blowtorch for tricks and removal.
Fervent Beastslayer is your mid game fatty.

Banking on a Budget (Low cost Banker deck)
Fri, 02/25/2011 - 10:37 — WebmasterThe idea here is that you can build this deck for... 75 cents... maybe $1. (just buy a veteran spoils player a soda!)
No.. but really, this deck is all commons and uncommons and is actually a really good beginner deck. The plan here is to abuse a card called Gilded Yurt. This card is one of the easiest to abuse cards that the Bankers have. It allows you to "blink out" characters you control. You combine this with cards like Dowsing Cleric, Dwarvish Grimalkin, Circumspect Hijacker, Property Condemner and Treasure Brokerage and you gain card advantage pretty quick.
