Bit of Alright was not like other game design conferences, because the programme wasn’t just talks. There were multiple things going on at once, in different rooms. The presenters were invited to do whatever they wanted, and it didn’t have to be a talk if that’s wasn’t their kind of thing. You can read a much longer explanation of why this happened over here.

Who Organised This?

Bit of Alright is organised by David Hayward, who among other things, does production work for the GameCity Festival, curates the Indie Games Arcade for the Eurogamer Expo each year, and used to be the sole organiser of UK indie games conference World of Love before leaving his former employer to pursue freelance projects. He also co-runs boardgames night Gambling Lambs in Nottingham.
