April is just around the corner and TAASA wants you to be prepared. The 2012 Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month toolkit is now available.

This year’s theme is “Get Social – Social Media. Social Marketing. Social Change”. The intention of this packet to showcase how traditional and non-traditional forms of communication can be used to connect your agency to the community, and the community to you.

2012 is TAASA’s 30th Anniversary!

In celebration of our 30 years of service to sexual assault survivors we invite you to become a supporter through our 30 for 30 membership drive. This drive involves a $30 contribution made for 30 months.

Public Policy Updates

TAASA’s Executive Director, Annette Burrhus-Clay, co-authored an article in the Houston Chronicle on the impact of two newly passed pieces of legislation pertinent to victims of sexual assault.

For our voices to be heard that full funding for rape crisis center and domestic violence shelters is critical, TAASA and TCFV have once again joined forces for Capitol Day!  In the past this has been a really fun (and effective!) day at the Capitol.  We had 175 attendees last year, and we are hoping for that and more this year. Please join us!
