Redwood Bluegrass Associates Presents Two Duets In Concert March 24

Two duet acts — Chris Stuart & Janet Beazley and Brittany Haas & Lauren Rioux – will appear in a Redwood Bluegrass Associates concert at the First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The RBA season series is sponsored by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
The 8:00pm concert will be preceded by a 5:00pm open jam.

NCBS Jake’s Brown Barn Bluegrass Reunion Set For October 12-14 In Gilroy
The 7th Annual NCBS Jake’s Brown Barn Bluegrass Reunion will be held Friday-Sunday, October 12-14, 2012 in Gilroy. The event was begun by the late Jake Quesenberry as the “Brown Barn Bluegrass Festival.” The event is presented by the Quesenberry Family and The Music Medics, and sponsored by the Northern California Bluegrass Society. NCBS Member Discount For March 15 IBMA Bluegrass In Schools Webinar
Northern California Bluegrass Society Members will receive a discount to the International Bluegrass Music Association webinar (online seminar) How To Present & Book Bluegrass Programs At Schools. The Thursday, March 15, 2012, 4:00-5:30pm (Pacific) online class will be taught by Greg Cahill of the Special Consensus and Matt Munsey of Monroe Crossing.
