Mike Steinberger is the wine columnist for Slate.com. He is also the author of Au Revoir to All That: Food, Wine, and the End of France, which was published in 2009 by Bloomsbury. When not writing about wine, he can usually be found drinking it. He is married to Kathleen Brennan, a food writer and cookbook editor, and has two young children, both of whom enjoy mimicking his wine tasting rituals at the dinner table.
