Hi, I’m Chris and that’s me up there in the header. I am an Associate Publisher for John Wiley & Sons, and run a print and electronic program that is focused on teaching people about technology.  My group publishes a wide variety of books and information on topics as broad as software development, web design, digital photography and other consumer technologies.  I am always keeping an eye out for new and innovative books and other publishing opportunities – so feel free to pitch me new ideas.

While I am based primarily in Indianapolis, my staff is located in our European headquarters south of London. So, every six weeks or so I find myself a resident of Chichester, UK.

I’ve been in the publishing industry for more than a decade, and have worked on books for the technology and business shelves, including Wiley’s wildly popular For Dummies series.

Primarily, this blog is a collection of my thoughts on the changing world of publishing and the impact of the Internet, and disruptive technologies such as “social media” on the more traditional approaches to print and online publishing. However, since it’s my blog I reserve the right to ramble on and on about nothing in particular, point out things that I just think are cool, and even totally geek out on occasion.
