New York Daily News Special Super Bowl edition
Super Bowl celebrations continue
As the NY Giants won one of the most important games in American Football on Sunday, celebrations were flying high in New York on Sunday and following the New York Giants’ victory at the Super Bowl, New York Daily News have released an Apple and Android smartphone and tablet app dedicated to the game. The edition can be viewed online here, or for $1.99 the full edition can be downloaded and saved on your mobile or tablet device to read wherever you go.
Special Edition after four year wait
It has been four years since the New York Giants won the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots in 2008, and to celebrate their 2012 victory over the same team fans can read the 40 page special edition, which is packed with photos, great commentary and insights from unrivalled New York Daily News sports writers. New York Daily News weren’t the only New York publishers celebrating the win, and Newsday released an open access digital edition for one day only.
Speedy turn around with PageSuite’s software
The app highlights the ease and speed of using PageSuite’s Dynamic App development, with the app and edition only becoming available if the NY Giants were to be crowned Super Bowl champions on Sunday, meaning the publisher and software company had to be prepared for a fast turnaround to get the app and edition ready before the celebrations were over.
