How can I place candles with Twitter?

From your twitter account send an '@' replay to 'nshrine' with your message.
@nshrine this is a happy test
This is all you need to get a candle placed in the twitter shrine with the message "this is a happy test". You will receive a reply with a link to the candle you placed.

That's it! Below are some other things you can do, but otherwise, you're ready!

Colors:

Candles are yellow unless a 'mood' or 'color' is selected with a '#'. Currently available moods are:
#reverenceyellow
#desirered
#successgreen
#peaceblue
#memorywhite
#joyorange
For example:
@nshrine I hope it snows! #desire
This will place a red candle in the twitter shrine with the message "I hope it snows". Only one mood will be shown per candle.
@nshrine I hope it snows! #red
Will do the same thing.

Other Shrines:

Shrines can be specified by adding :[shrinename] to your request. For example:
@nshrine :vibes calm down everyone #peace
This will place a blue candle in the vibes shrine with the message "calm down everyone".
The #[mood] and :[shrinename] can appear in any order.

Other Twitterers:

Adding another @[twitter user name] will add a link to that twitterer's profile and send them a reply containing a link to that candle. For example:
@nshrine thanks for the good thoughts :play #joy @artwells
This will place an orange candle in the play shrine with the message "thanks for the good thoughts artwells" and send a link to @artwells.
Shrines must be set to accept candles from anyone in order to receive candles from tweets.

How can I see who has put candles in my shrine?

You can prohibit anonymous candles by changing "Allow Anonymous Candles" to "No" in the Shrine Settings section.
