How do I create a shrine?
Creating shrines can be as simple as registering, and following the simple instructions mail to you. Here is a brief description of what to expect.
- Go to the Register Free page and choose to either set up an account at nshrine or use one of your existing accounts at LiveJournal, AOL or others.
- You will be asked to choose an account name, and give a valid email.
- After the form is filled out, you will received a confirmation email from help@nshrine.com (you might need to check your spam filters to be sure this email gets through). This email will contain a confirmation link.
- Once you've clicked on the confirmation email link, your account will be activated. Simply log in using the account name you've provided.
- You'll start on your own home page. Use the Pick a shrine name form to create your first shrine.
- Click Create and you're done!
- Optional: Customize your shrine with pictures and colors.
- Optional: Set permissions who can add candles to your shrine
- Optional: Share your shrine with others through badges, email, and more.
What Are Gift Candles?
Gift candles give ad-free time to the shrines they are placed in.
They can be purchased on your
profile pageand placed in any shrine you'd like. Simply check the 'Make This A Gift Candle' box when placing a candle.
Each gift candles will gives a week of ad-free service to the shrine they are placed in. This time is added to any ad-free time the shrine currently has.
How can I place candles with Twitter?
From your twitter account send an '@' replay to 'nshrine' with your message.
@nshrine this is a happy testThis is all you need to get a candle placed in the twitter shrine with the message "this is a happy test". You will receive a reply with a link to the candle you placed.

Candles are yellow unless a 'mood' or 'color' is selected with a '#'. Currently available moods are:For example:
