John Paris, EWF's current drummer, is not only a deep-pocket monster that honors the original deep drumming by Maurice and Freddie White, but he is also an incredibly cool guy as well. Hoping we can open for them again soon!  less

    Bart Robley Hey Vic. I LOVE Aquarian Drumheads. I've been using them for over 15 years now. They sound amazing and I never have trouble with them.

    Vic Dunston I confess I don't know much about them. Would you recommend them for a CatMaple kit? And how do they compare pricewise to Remo/Evans?

    Bart Robley Yes I have a few students with Cat Maples, and I do some studio work from time to time on a Renown Maple with Aquarians on it and they sound great. I know they compare to both Remo and Evans very well as far as price, and they last longer, for sure!!

    george dreger Here in AZ, they cost about 20% more at GC, but sure worth it if you like them! I use Evans EC 2 frosteds on my Renowns- they sound Awesome and never had a problem.
