CapeTides.com intends to provide an easy means for displaying tide and current information, sunrises and sunsets, as well as moon phases for the Cape Cod & Island's region. We've tried to keep the design sparse so as to make the site more valuable for frequent use.

CapeTides.com is a free service provided by c4.net. c4.net is a division of Cape Cod Computer, Inc. Though we have much more interesting things in store for this domain, we figured we'd provide a useful service in the meantime.

If we do ever get around to changing the site, we will endeavor to ensure that the site always displays tidal and current information for the region in a clean and easily accessible format.

About the Content

The information presented on the site has been extracted from WTides, a Windows port of the popular XTides application, which uses the same algorithm as the National Ocean Service.

Each calculation is based on harmonic data collected over a one year period from each listed location. If a location is not listed, it is because there was no (accurate) harmonic data available for that location at the time the application was created.
