Arson Fire Destroys Kicker Fish Bait Co.’s Warehouse – We are sad to announce that part of our warehouse was destroyed on Sunday, January 15, 2012 by a fire that was set.   Luckily The New Bubble Fry’s and 11″ Ribbontail’s were in a separate warehouse and not damaged.  We are working on sorting out what inventory was not destroyed in the fire and will be updating our website with the products that are available.

We will be back BIGGER BETTER and STRONGER than ever !!! Thanks for everyone’s support !!

Arson Fire UpdateWe have been pouring non-stop since part of our warehouse was destroyed by the fire set.  We now have available the Hightail Holeshots and Lizards.  Thank you to those that have called and sent emails.  We appreciate all the kind words and encouragements.

Winning Lures -   The Reaction Innovations Sweet Beaver was Castledine’s go-to-lure – but only by default.   He prefers the Kicker Fish Hightail Holeshot but was short on worms, so he reserved his supply for stubborn fish on days one and two.  On day three, he secured his limit with the Sweet Beaver and then switched to the Hightail Holeshot to cull up twice.  Castledine’s presentations varied.  Some fish took only a couple of flips before they bit, while others required more time.  None took Castledine more than 10 minutes to catch during the tournament, thanks to a solid understanding of each fish that he acquired prior to competetion….

Cody Bird takes 3rd at Everstart Series on Hightail Holeshot

Featured on FLW Outdoors:    Bird skyrockets up the leaderboard – After barely squeaking into the finals on Toledo Bend in ninth place, Cody Bird of Granbury, Texas, knew that he’d have his work cut out for him if he was to have any chance at a tournament titleWhile he didn’t find the ultimate price he was looking for, Bird sailed up the standings with a total catch of 54 pounds, claiming third place overall as well as nearly $8000 in winnings.   “It was a fun week, and I really enjoyed the weathers” said Bird.  “I love to sight-fish, and that’s what I did all week.  I didn’t finish in first, but it was nice to move up as much as I did”.   Bird said he targeted the majority of his quarry fishing a Kicker Fish Bait Company Finesse worm.   “The bass couldn’t leave that bait alone”, he said.  “I didn’t try to catch a lot of keepers this week – and maybe that was my mistake – I just tried to look around for the big bites.  But overall, it was good week.”
