APEnet (Archiv Portal Europa) ist ein Best Practice Projekt, das von der Europäischen Kommission im Programm eContentplus gefördert wird. Ziel des Projekts ist es, ein Internetportal für europäische Archive aufzubauen. In diesem Rahmen erarbeiten 17 Nationalarchive in enger Kooperation mit Europeana einen gemeinsamen Zugangspunkt zu archivischen Beständen, Findmitteln und digitalen Sammlungen aus ganz Europa.

The final version of the Archives Portal Europe is now online at www.archivesportaleurope.eu!

You can search across the holdings of 61 institutions, 14.277.894 descriptive units and 63.781.468 digital archival objects.

Read all about the latest most significant improvements here. As always we welcome your feedback which can be sent using the portal's contact form.

Please note that the portal will grow in content as well as in functionality in the near future.
