I just got some of your music on iTunes. Really beautiful sounds! “Eva Arriving” is so great; I wish I could play it!
I wish you all the best in your recovery.

Hi Dean,
I saw you at the San Antonio Accordion Festival many years ago with John Williams (perhaps 2006??). I dug out your CD Heavy Meadow to share with a friend and happened to look up your website and then got to this one.
Your music is beautiful. I listened to the one CD I have over and over again and now I’m going to try and buy all of your CDs. I will pray that you heal and grow stronger everyday. I come from a family of musicians and your skill and composition blows me away every time I hear a song. There’s always something new to find in each song each time you hear it.
Thank you so much for inspiring me. I know that you will not only survive but live a full life full of love and peace and music.
I will help in any way that I can.
-Hannah

Sending love and good wishes from around the corner I believe! Delighted to hear you are doing much better and I hope your progress continues. Hi to Meagn. Take care. Hugs, Annie.

Hi Dean,
I’ve been thinking of you…
1) when I went to hear Peter Ostroushko at the Cedar. I remembered once maybe 15 years ago when I was doing video at a corporate gig for “Daytons.” We were on the roof of a garage and the employees were eating lunch. I heard some great music and there you and Peter were, off in a corner some where, bringing it.
2) I remember your son when he was little and would come to the Pouchak/Aranow household at Halloween, year after year. Funny, how the mind picks something like this to remember.
3) The only music of yours that I own is the one with the bongos, Jaguar at Half Moon Lake. I keep giving it away, and then buying another…
Be open to these new changes, and thrive! I’ve never met your partner, but she sounds like a very good woman.

Dean & Megan
Great report Megan!! Thank you for taking the time to do this – with all the other “higher priorities” you have in your life! Do we have to start looking closer at stop lghts, now that Dean is driving again!!
We think of you folks almost every day and wonder if we would have the same strength, wisdom, and work ethic, to keep going as you have done!! Will try and get to the event in August (may be out of town!) Till then–keep the faith, and remember that what the folks relate to is your warmth and humor when you are performing (the great guitar skills are just a vehicle)!!!
Call if you need anything!

Hey Dean,
My friends and I did a music-trading activity where we listed some of our favorite musicians. For the “most awesome guitarist” question, some people put down Jimmy Page, some put down Eddie Van Halen, some put down Pete Townshend…
…I put down DEAN MAGRAW! \m/ Can’t wait to see you play again. You’ve done so much to influence me as a musician, and I can’t ever thank you enough.
Rock on, Mr. Macgrawsome.

Dean, you’re one of my favorite guitarists, you can put amazing amounts of expression into every note you play and it really makes your guitar speak. God bless you man and best of luck with your recovery.
