Welcome to HULL FILM
PHEW! What a ride GLIMMER 2011 was! We finished in style at the Lovely Fruit with the superb programme from straight 8, presented by Will Cummock of said outfit, and followed that up with the Award Ceremony handing out Real Award Trophies not non-present Filmmakers…oh well, the couriers it is then…
I would like to personally thank everyone involved in this year’s festival – from filmmakers, through facilitators, Jurors, designers, printers, web-masters, and our fantastic, long suffering volunteers, and everyone else I’ve forgotten – Without your input and help in so many different ways, Glimmer might never have happened, and certainly would not have been the best festival ever!!
We are still dealing with some post-festival loose ends, but will be back in action very soon, presenting the best of films to the people of Hull! Keep it tuned to here…
IN THE MEANTIME, PLEASE VISIT, FOLLOW AND ENJOY THE GLIMMER BLOG SITE, PUT TOGETHER BY MICHELLE DEE; ASSISTANT EXTRAORDINAIRE!
Yours,
Espen
