Openhill Supports New School in Haiti with Website and Engagement Strategy

Openhill teamed with Laura Hartman Pincus, director of external partnerships for Zynga.org, and Boston-based nonprofit FATEM, Inc., to build a website called ecoledechoix.org for their new school in Haiti. After receiving seed capital from Zynga.org, the philanthropic arm of the fast-growing Zynga gaming company, a new school building opened its doors to 200 students in October 2011. The school serves children and families living in conditions of extreme poverty in Mirebalais, Haiti.

CLCCRUL and Openhill Launching RaceAndPoverty.org

The Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Inc. (CLCCRUL) has launched a major outreach strategy in order to protect and promote the civil rights of poor, minority and disadvantaged people. CLCCRUL has teamed with Chicago-based Openhill and its LetsConnectChicago civic initiative to develop a digital outreach strategy and to build a highly-connected web community called RaceAndPoverty.org. This site will promote the work of social justice organizations, volunteers and donors.
