Natasha Monique Hastings is an Olympic Gold Medalist, four time World Champion and certified fitness trainer who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Natasha began her track career at a very early age and made a first place win at the USATF Junior Olympics in the 400m in the Youth Girls division. She attended A. Phillip Randolph in New York City where she was able to take her track and field interest to a more competitive level, setting city, state and national records along the way.
on to compete at the USA National Championships where she set the collegiate record of 49.84 and earned her first trip to the World Championships in Osaka, Japan. In 2008 at the age of 22, Natasha won an Olympic Gold Medal in the Women’s 4×400M relay team by running a 49.87 split.
Most recently, she won first place in the 400M dash at the 2011 USA Indoor Track & Field Championships running a championship record and a then world-leading time of 50.83 and earned another gold medal at the 2011 IAAF World Outdoor Championship in Daegu, Korea. Natasha is currently in training in preparation for the USA Trials for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, England. Natasha currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and trains in Austin, Texas.
