Shoreline Windermere,
Contact Scott Phariss
for details.
Chartered
in 1978 through the efforts of the
Lynnwood Kiwanis Club, our club, The
Kiwanis Club of Edmonds Washington is a
spirited group of women and men
who are dedicated to serving our
community with the focus on young
children and adolescents.
For those like minded citizens, wanting
to serve the community, we have much to
share and contribute.
Meetings
are held each Tuesday morning from 10 to
11:AM at the Edmonds Senior Center
at 220 Railroad Avenue in Edmonds.
Parking in two locations, at the Center
or the parking lot on the corner of
Railroad Avenue and West Dayton as it
approaches Admiral Way near Arnie's
Restaurant, is very convenient. We
meet upstairs (elevator access) in the
room with the best view in our Kiwanis
Division!
A
wide variety of interesting,
entertaining, and often very stimulating
half hour programs are offered at 10:30
AM, during our meeting. We are a
busy group, engaged in several projects
throughout the year, from food drives,
sponsoring Meadowdale High School and
Edmonds-Woodway High School Key Clubs,
to providing bike helmets to local
gradeschool kids, to providing
dictionaries to every 3rd grader in
Edmonds and lots in between. We also
sell the famous Skagit Valley berries -
- strawberries, raspberries and
blueberries to raise funds to enable us
to do these things. We also promote an
another fun and exciting fund raiser,
our
annual crab and spaghetti feed and
dance in January.
You are
invited to join us any Tuesday morning
for fun and lively fellowship, coffee
and snacks, great programs, and an
opportunity to serve your community.
