You don't have to travel far or through endless narrow lanes just to enjoy the beautiful and varied scenery of Devon. If a walk is not listed on this page, click North-East or South-West at the top.
This site offers a host of circular walks , long and short, with easy driving access to the starting point .
None of the walks require a drive up narrow country lanes. There are no steep up and down walks; nor do any of them follow a main highway . All walks include footpaths or tracks and are designed to allow the walker to enjoy the landscape and its wild life, with or without dog!.
All walks are shown on UP TO DATE maps.

You can now cycle or walk from Darts Farm / Ebford to Exmouth via Exton & Lympstone. The final stretch to Topsham is due for completion in 2012.

New bridge for walkers across M5 nr Exeter
Redhayes bridge for walkers and cyclists spanning the M5 between Gypsy Hill Lane and Blackhorse Lane has finally been opened. This will make a significant difference and restore the link severed by the motorway. The bridge was made in Wales and assembled on tower structures before being swung into position - both the M5 and Exeter Airport were closed during this operation.First of the 520 truckloads arrived on December 8th.The bridge ranks as the first in the UK to be built following and at the same time defining the new structural eurocodes. There are some stunning views of the Exe estuary. Check out this excellent site . |
