Whether your video feed is being sent back to a studio, into a video switcher, or displayed on a large screen, Cube’s point to point streaming solution can bring your content to audiences worldwide.
Streaming to an iPad
Cube™ enables producers, clients, and others on set to monitor every shot live on their iPads. Instead of running long, cumbersome cables to bulky monitors, Cube’s ability to turn the iPad into a mobile wireless monitor liberates cinema crews from wired tethers and cluttered studios. Video latency on the iPad is 7-8 frames.
Broadcast Live to the Internet
With a simple press of the Go Live! button, Cube™ will stream directly to your website, Facebook page, or a content delivery network (CDN) of choice. Cube supports multiple transport protocols, including RTMP, RTP/RTSP, RTP Push, MPEG-TS, and HTTP Live Streaming, which makes it the most versatile wireless video encoder available.
Power options
Cube™ operates on 6-28V DC and requires additional power accessories when used with a roaming camera. Teradek offers a variety of cables, batteries and battery adapter plates for almost any camera setup.

3G/4G Support

Ad-hoc
Wireless Cube™ models (150/250/350/450/550) create their own ad-hoc network, which allows other wireless devices like iPads, computers, and Teradek decoders to connect without requiring a wireless router. Ad-hoc connections will work up to 300 feet depending on line of sight.
Licenses
Cube™ 200 and 250 can be enhanced with additional licenses for RTSP Multicast and MPEG Transport Stream. Cube™ 100 and 150 can be enhanced with additional licenses for RTSP Multicast, MPEG Transport Stream, and Remote Proxy Recording.
Remote Proxy Recording
With this license installed, Cube™ senses when your camera begins and ends recording and wirelessly creates an identical, H.264 file in real time on a computer connected to your wireless network. Each recording has the same filename as the original recording on the internal media and identical time codes. These files are immediately available for playback via iPad or for offline editing in an NLE. Compatible with HD-SDI encoder models only.
RTSP Multicast
Creates a single multicast IP stream from Cube™ to reach multiple end-users over any IGMP multicast compliant network. Compatible with all Cube encoder models.
MPEG Transport Stream
Creates an MPEG transport stream over an IP (TCP or UDP) stream that is compatible with television broadcast equipment and IPTV set-top boxes. This license is necessary to transmit video from a remote location or for push broadcasts to Teradek decoders. Compatible with all Cube encoders.
