Wright Quintuplets Celebrate Fifth Birthday
USI Alumni-in-Residence Life lessons will be the focus of the University of Southern Indiana College of Business Alumni-in-Residence program Feb. 29 in the University Center Carter Hall. Luke Yaeger M'07, a senior vice president for commercial lending at Evansville Commerce Bank, is the alumni in residence.USI Alumni & Volunteer Services Director Janet L. Johnson M'05 is the new Alumni and Volunteer Services director at the University of Southern Indiana. Johnson has worked at USI since 2000, and she has most recently served as the assistant director of Career Services and Placement, where she coached alumni and current students on effective job search procedures and professional development. |

Nancy Briggs ’81 has taken the position of vice president/employee benefits officer at First Financial Bank in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Michael Elpers '81 was promoted to discipline and technical lead for the controls and automation design division at Professional Consultants, Inc., in Evansville.
Keith Barnett ’00 civil engineering technology, is president and chief executive officer at Information Technology Architects in Evansville.
Jean Cunningham Blanton ’01 was recognized as a “Rising Star” among Indiana attorneys. It is the fourth year in a row that she has been recognized. Jean is an attorney at Ziemer, Stayman, Weitzel & Shoulders, LLP in Evansville.
Aaron Beatty ’02 was promoted to assistant director of electrical power systems at Professional Consultants, Inc., in Evansville.
Adam Long ’02 is an attorney with Long & Mathies Law Firm PC in Boonville, Indiana. He is the current president of Warrick County Bar Association.
Andy Miles ’03 has been promoted to assistant vice president, branch relationship banker, branch manager at First Federal Bank in Newburgh, Indiana.
Jim Back ’03, an Edward Jones advisor in Evansville, has received the firm’s Field Trainer Award for his efforts in voluntarily training new financial advisors.
Stephanie Gerhardt ’03 has joined F.C. Tucker Realtors as an agent in Newburgh, Indiana.
Marc Schiele ’04 was sworn in as a new firefighter at Evansville Fire Department.
Curt Begle M’05 is president of Berry Plastics’ rigid closed top division in Evansville.
Ardon Smith ’05 has been promoted to manager of external reporting and accounting research for Vectren Corporation in Evansville.
