Holiday Concert

This Shining Night

The BGMC celebrates the tradition, magic and fun of holiday nights.  We’ll sing favorites from Jingle Bells to Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas to three ancient British carols adapted by rock icon Sting. We’ll have music representing the Hebrew and African traditions. And of course there are those memorable nights spent in front of the TV illuminated by the glow of iconic Christmas characters like Cindy Lou Who, Jack Frost and Rudolph. Join the BGMC to add the twinkle of holiday joy to the season!

Spring Concert

Love's Voice

The BGMC looks at the many voices of love, from lush to humorous, presenting gorgeous and spirited music from Adele and Ricky Martin to George Gershwin to the landmark gay musical Falsettoland. Act 2 presents For a Look or a Touch, by renowned American composer Jake Heggie. It is the poignant true story of two men’s love torn apart by the Holocaust, the rapture and joy of young love and the healing glow of remembrance. Created in partnership with the Seattle Men’s Chorus, reviewers have called this masterpiece “unabashedly theatrical” and “a sharply poignant, deeply affecting work.”

Pride Concert

Get Ready for This!
The Music of the 90's

Remember the 90’s? What a way to end a millennium! The Soviet Union dissolved. Science brought us the Hubble Telescope and Dolly the Sheep. The DVD and the iMac were introduced. We went to the movies to see Titanic and Jurassic Park. At home, we were introduced to ER, South Park and Friends. And we listened to songs like Supermodel, Gonna Make You Sweat, My Heart Will Go On, What’s Up and I Will Always Love You. This season’s Pride concert will pulse with the spirit of hope and change that made the decade the REAL gay 90’s! Our amazing accompanist and arranger, Chad Weirick has done a brilliant job creating this show. It includes music from Rent and an over-the-top medley of 50 of the decade’s best. Get ready for this!!
