The PCPL Board of Dictors will meet on Monday, March 19, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Delaware Valley School District Administration Building. The meeting is open to the public.
Effective February
1, 2012, the Milford and Dingman Township branches will close at 7:00 p.m. on
Monday through Thursday. In addition,
the Milford Branch will open at noon on Wednesday and the Dingman Township
Branch will be closed on Saturday.
It's still not too late to sign up your preschooler ages 3-5 for stories and crafts as PCPL begins Spring Story Hours at each of our branches. The schedules are as follows:
Milford -Thursdays 10:30-11:30, March 8-April 5 - To register call 570-296-8211
Dingman - Tuesdays 1:30-2:15, March 13-April 10 - To register call 570-686-7045
Lackawaxen - Fridays, 10:30-11:30. March 2 - March 30 - To register call 570-685-3100
The Milford Branch of PCPL is an official Passport Acceptance Facility, which means that you can apply for your U.S, Passport or Passport Card at the branch, located at 201 Broad Street in Milford. Please call 570-296-8211 for an appointment, or to learn about the documentation you need in order to apply.
PCPL is running a raffle for a new Keurig Elite Coffee Maker with a generous supply of K-Cups through March 28. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00, and are available at all PCPL branches. Take a chance to win this popular coffee maker while supporting your library.
All branches of PCPL are now accepting donations of gently-used books, audio books on CD, music CDs, DVDs and puzzles for the Friends of the Library Spring Book and Bake Sale that will be held on May 19 and 20 at the American Legion in Milford. Items must be in sellable condition and can be dropped off at any branch during business hours. No magazines, books on cassette, video tapes, textbooks or encyclopedias, please.
