Emergency Care
KVCH provides 24/7 urgent and emergent medical care in a modern and fully equipped facility. A certified emergency physician is on duty 24-hours-a-day, in addition to a mix of emergency-trained registered nurses, nursing assistants and support staff. KVCH is also designated a Level IV trauma service by the Washington state Department of Health. All emergency personnel, including nurses and physicians, maintain specialty training in the latest standards of emergency medicine and trauma care.
If possible, it is recommended that emergency patients bring a list of medications and allergies, an insurance card, and any POLST (Physician Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment) form.
