Summer Art Apprenticeship Program
For High School Teens
We offer an Art Apprentice Program for teens ages 15 and up. Apprentices will be trained to work with younger children and assist with art activities.All interested teens must submit an application by June 9 and commit to working a minimum of two camp sessions. There is a $25 registration fee and applicants must complete the MOCHA Apprentice Training held June 9. Contact Amanda Wilkening at (510)465-8770 x307, amanda@mocha.org with questions.

2 shifts: 8AM-1:00PM (morning) & 12noon-5:30PM (afternoon)
Responsibilities:
- Assisting Teaching Artist in classroom, preparing for the projects and passing out supplies.
- Helping kids complete the projects!
- Preparing snack and giving additional supervision during play breaks.
- Pre-care and after-care projects: art and play free time with kids while they wait for their parents.
- Chaperoning field trips to places like Crab Cove, the bowling alley, Oakland Museum and Zeum.
- Clean-Up, after classes and at the end of the day.
