    spacer Gary Zamler – CEO
    Gary Zamler was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Board member of Simbionix in April 2006. He has been involved in US – Israeli medical technology and innovation for the past 25 years, bringing a rich background and experience in global distribution & sales strategy. There is hardly a global market where Gary has not been involved in sales, marketing, and distribution strategy and implementation, particularly in the US and Asia.
    Prior to joining Simbionix, Gary was the Director of Sales for the rapidly growing Given Imaging Ltd, which pioneered the field of wireless Capsule Endoscopy. During his three and a half years at Given, he was involved in the distribution of Given Imaging products throughout the world. Gary held key management positions in several leading International Medical Diagnostic Imaging companies; Country Sales Manager for GE Medical Systems in Israel, Global CT Sales Manager for Marconi Medical (former Picker International and currently Philips), Vice President of Commercial Operations for Elscint’s largest subsidiary in the USA, and Managing Director and General Manager for Elscint’s Diagnostic Imaging operations in Southern Africa. Gary earned his undergraduate degree with honors at Eastern Michigan University (USA) and pursued many advanced International business management courses in the United States, Israel, and Europe. He holds a Six Sigma belt from GE Medical Systems.
     
    spacer Ran Bronstein – Founder, President and COO
    Ran has been a pioneer in the field of Medical Simulation for over 10 years, having started as one of the three founders of Simbionix, creating the vision for the company and leading the development of the technologically advanced medical simulators. Today, as the company President and COO, Ran oversees all company operations both internally and externally.
    Prior to joining the company, he co-founded Kidum Multimedia and managed its R&D team, a software company focused on 3-D technologies, that was acquired by SEA in 1997. At Tecnomatix Corporation, which provided Manufacturing Process Management Solutions, Ran was 3D and Simulation Project Leader. Ran holds an M.Sc. degree in computer sciences and a B.Sc. degree in mathematics and computer sciences – both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
     
    spacer Boaz Tal, Adv. (CPA) – Chief Financial Officer
    Boaz joined Simbionix in June 2006, after working as an associate with Israel’s leading law firm, Herzog Fox & Neeman, specializing in corporate law and M&A. Boaz brings to Simbionix broad experience in working with leading multinational companies in transactions aggregating in Billions of dollars.
    Prior to that, Boaz worked as a CPA at Kesselman & Kesselman, PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he managed audit teams across a broad range of client companies. Boaz also served as a guest lecturer at ISEMI – Swinburne University of Technology’s Israeli extension until 2003.Boaz earned a L.L.B. from the Tel-Aviv University in 1996 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accountancy and Economics from the Tel-Aviv University in 1992.
     
    spacer  Inbal Mazor – VP Global Marketing
    Inbal brings a rich background and marketing experience in medical technologies and products, having joined Simbionix in 2000 after holding the position of Product Manager of cardiovascular products at Novartis Pharma, Israel. Her first position at Simbionix was as Product Manager for the URO Mentor™ and the PERC Mentor™ medical simulators, working her way up to her current position as VP Global Marketing. In her current position, Inbal heads the marketing division, responsible for market strategy, branding, product positioning and product development. The Simbionix marketing division works closely with leading physicians and medical associations worldwide to best analyse and address the market requirements and needs.
    Inbal earned an MBA in Marketing from the University of Bar-Ilan, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from the University of Tel-Aviv.
     
     spacer William Lewandowski – VP Business Development, USA
    William E Lewandowski, MS, is the Vice President for US Business Development. He has over 21 years of experience in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of simulation in the aviation, defense, and medical industries. He has published and presented in a number of international peer-reviewed venues on both simulation and instructional design and has served in an advisory capacity on these subjects to various US and international clinical boards and societies. Mr Lewandowski is a retired US Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel and a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College. He holds a Masters of Science degree in instructional and performance technology from Boise State University and is pursuing a PhD in health sciences at the University of Liverpool. His professional affiliations include the American Society for Training and Development, the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH).
     
    spacer Doron Zilberman – VP Sales and Business Development, International
    Doron was formerly Director of Sales at Applitec Ltd., a manufacturer of video cameras for MIS. He has many years of experience in international sales in the market for MIS. In addition, he has also actively developed business relationships with strategic partners and built international distribution networks.
     
    spacer Dror Paz – VP Sales, North America
    Dror joined Simbionix after 8 years at GE Healthcare where he was in charge of MRI and X-Ray modalities Sales in Israel which is considered to be one of the most competitive global markets. He managed to increase GE’s market share and presence, and met sophisticated customer needs by providing creative and tailored solutions which quickly became the industry standard. He gained extensive Sales and customer relations experience as well as team leader at GE. Dror participated in many GE management and Sales courses, and holds a GE Six Sigma green belt.
    Before Dror joined GE, he was active in the US markets between 1992 – 1998 as a supervisor and a cargo operations leader for EL AL Israel Airlines in Chicago. Dror earned his B.Sc in Finance with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).
     
    spacer Pinchas (Pini) Berry – VP Operations
    Pini has B.Sc. Degree of Industrial & Management Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and MBA Degree from New York University (NYU), major in marketing & management.
    Prior to joining Simbionix, Pini was General Manager of GIE (start-up) Development that produces and sells filters for treatment of industrial wastewater and devices for pH control. Before that he worked at Israel Military Industries (IMI) as Head of the Economics Department in the Marketing Division.
     
    spacer Niv Fisher – CTO Research & Development
    Niv earned his B.Sc in Mathematics & Computer Science with honors from Tel-Aviv University. Prior to his military service Niv worked as Content Developer for broadband applications at NetGame Inc. After completing his military service in the Israeli air force, Niv worked as a programmer for game development at S.E.A. Multimedia. He joined Simbionix in 1998 as a programmer. He was promoted to Project Manager for the GI Mentor simulator, and today serves as the R&D Manager of the company’s Medical Division.
     
    spacer Paul Jensen – General Manager Simbionix MED
    Paul is an information services executive with exceptional experience in building innovative information products and services for a variety of professional markets, including education, accounting, human resources, and law. A pioneer in eLearning, he was responsible for the learning management system for Aplia, a leading Web-based homework solution for higher education, and created the first eLearning product strategy for Thomson Learning. Most recently Paul held several senior management roles with Wolters Kluwer, a multi-billion dollar global leader in information services and publishing, including responsibility for enterprise-wide strategies and business priorities for online content delivery systems. Paul earned his MBA with honors from Columbia Business School.
     
    spacer Yael Friedman – Director of Regulatory Affairs
    Dr. Friedman received her Ph.D. in Physiology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Her post-doctoral studies in the field of Molecular Biology were conducted at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She continued her research at the Biochemistry Department of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In 1995 she took a position as biotechnology patent editor at the Israeli Ministry of Justice. Three years ago Dr. Friedman joined Simbionix as a medical researcher in order to spearhead several new company initiatives. Foremost among these were her efforts to secure funds from public agencies for research, development and commercialization of new simulators.
     
     spacer Liron Leist – Director of Research and Development
    Liron has been involved in cutting edge research and development for the past 14 years, 12 of which as team/projects/R&D manager. Prior to joining Simbionix, Liron lead development efforts in the fields of large scale data applications, internet and communications for a number of innovative start-up companies. He joined Simbionix in 2004 as a programmer and was promoted to manage the Laparoscopy product line where he was responsible for the development of the Hernia, Sigmoidectomy and FLS simulators. Liron was later promoted to manage the entire R&D department. He holds an MBA from the University of Derby, with a major in Operations Management  & Marketing.
