The International Practical Shooting Confederation,
is the organizing body for the sport
of practical shooting on a world wide basis with over 67 countries as member
regions.
The President of the IPSC is Nick Alexakos
The United States Practical
Shooting Association (USPSA), is a non profit organization which is the
organizing body for the sport in the United States. The USPSA is affiliated with the
IPSC and is one of the member regions of the IPSC. The elected President
of the USPSA is, Phil Strader, also the "Regional Director" of the United States Region of the
IPSC. Click here for an excellent Beginner's Guide to Shooting Competitions - USPSA.
The USPSA/IPSC is divided into eight Areas
covering the United States. Each Area has an elected Area
Director and within each Area there are several Sections.
Two or more (usually more) shooting clubs make up each Section. The
elected Director of Area 2 is Chris Endersby
(Click here to view a copy of USPSA
Areas Map).

Shooting Clubs and organizations mentioned herein are all affiliated with
USPSA/IPSC. All
of these organizations, in part, are organized to further the sport of practical shooting.
It is their goal to make the term "Practical Shooting" synonymous with
"Safe, Fun, Family Shooting."
There are several links here to other USPSA/IPSC organizations. It is the intention of
this web developer to ultimately report on all USPSA/IPSC Area 2 activities.
Area 2 includes Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico and Hawaii. You will
find information on Area 2 activities, clubs, and match results for over
45
clubs and other USPSA style clubs. There are currently approximately
74 clubs in Area 2. I report match results on 39 club and my
ultimate goal is to report on all USPSA clubs. I'm still working at
getting more USPSA Area 2 clubs on board for the Area 2 website.
