If you loose your issued paddle top you will be required to buy a replacement to be able to race.

LEG LEASHES
All Standup Paddle Board ( SUP ) paddlers must wear a leg leash ( aka Leg Rope ) during the race. If you attempt to race without a leg leash you will both be disqualified on the spot, removed from the race ( you will not receive a refund of your entry fee ), and you risk being banned from the entire series.

PFD’S
All paddlers MUST wear a Personal Flotation Device ( aka PFD / Live Vest ) during the race. You can NOT race without wearing a PFD. If you attempt to race without a PFD you will both be disqualified on the spot, removed from the race ( you will not receive a refund of your entry fee ), and you risk being banned from the entire series.

SCRUTINEERING
If there is any question regarding the safety of an entrants craft, a scrutineer may choose to review your craft’s “sea worthiness” prior to allowing you to race. If a craft is deemed to not be suitable to race, the Race Directors requirements will be adhered to without question. If your craft is not deemed safe to race, you will not be allowed to race.

SAFETY CRAFT
There will be Rescue Craft along the course, but it is at all times entirely the responsibility of each and every entrant to ensure that he or she is fit and able to complete the race.

CANCELLATION
The Race Director may reject any entry to the race at any time for any reason they see fit, including medical and fitness conditions, non-compliance with Race Organisers directions or unsportsmanlike behaviour. Entry to any of the race events is at all times entirely at the Race Directors discretion.

RISK
Each of the three races available are demanding events in their own right. The event organisers cannot guarantee your safety. Possible risks include injury and/or drowning, due to being hit by other persons, objects or boats, other hazards include rocks, blue bottles, stingrays and sharks. Competitors enter at their own personal risk and are responsible for their own physical condition.

SERIES POINT SCORE
There is a running Series point score for all events. It can be found under “Results” on our website. It is automatically updated instantly the second each race is finished.
