On 3/3/12, the Occupy San Diego General Assembly had an agenda topic regarding #UnitedGA and formulating questions and ideas about process for #UnitedGA on 3/17 and future #UnitedGA's.

  • The OSDGA would like to see #UnitedGA be more discussion and report-back based than calling for national consensus. Expressing sentiments, ideas, and solutions should be a main focus.
  • The OSDGA would like to use some of the time to discuss and plan future national actions.
  • Specifically, for the first #UnitedGA, the OSDGA expressed that it would like to build trust and solidarity between participating Occupations. In other words, we'd like to get to know you a little bit.
  • The OSDGA expressed sentiment that we are ready and willing to begin discussing more difficult and divisive topics, rather than questions we feel have already been answered, such as "Are corporations people?"

Here are questions that have been posed for 3/17 as well as future #UnitedGA's:

  • Should we reverse Citizen's United and get money out of politics?
  • What should we be discussing in general for #UnitedGA?
  • Can we plan a national Monsanto action with this time?
  • Can we all discuss the various Occupy Walks currently taking place and maybe help co-ordinate and support these groups?
  • Should Occupy support PACs?
  • Is representative government ever truly representative of the people?
  • Can representative government fix the political economy when the root problem is inequality?
  • Discussion on the Federal Reserve and what we'd like to do about it.
  • What is "violence" to Occupy and what tactics should or should not be utilized?
  • How do we hold banks accountable?
  • Discussion on envisioning life after capitalism.
  • What is a moral economy/society?
  • Discussion on sustainability.
  • What should the role of the US military be in global affairs?
  • Discuss the meanings of "Occupy" and potentially re-branding it.
  • How does the US become carbon neutral or carbon negative?

Jennie dear, your formatting's off. As in, I can't even read all of that because it's behind your side panel off. Line breaks are your friend. <3 ya anyway!
