About the show

The Top Gear boys return in this brand new series to embark on another set of adventures in some of the world's most exciting cars.

The series kicks off with the legendary Jaguar E-type’s 50th birthday and Jeremy celebrates it in style, with live music, fighter planes and some Royal Marines. There’s also a trip to Italy, where Richard, James and Jeremy negotiate baffling Italian towns and take part in a scavenger hunt to find the world’s best hatchback. Will it be the Citroen DS Racing, the Fiat 500C Abarth or the Renaultsport Clio Cup?

Then while Jeremy and Richard look at some second-hand bargains, it’s off to the United States for James May, who tests the tough new Range Rover Evoque in Death Valley and chauffeurs an international celebrity across glamorous Las Vegas.

This series, Stars in the Reasonably-Priced Car, includes comedian Ross Noble, performer Alice Cooper, Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel and star of stage and screen Rowan Atkinson.

'it is reported' is a lame way of saying 'we cdnt be bothered to check if its true' BBC's own Hugh Pym is several inches taller than the Chipping Norton loudmouth.

Whether people deem it appropriate or not, I love Richard Hammond. He seems like a really great guy. Handsome, intellegent and funny. Oh, and James and Jeremy are funny too. I don't watch the show at all because of the cars.
