Services for Dogs
“Rapid Relief”
15-minute visit
Can you imagine going a whole day without a potty break? Portland Mutt Strut provides a handy service that provides much-needed relief for your dog and for you when you return to a clean home.
This service includes a 15-minute potty break with a stroll around the block for if desired. Multiple visits can be scheduled per day, perfect for the older dog who needs a brief outing or two before getting back to the couch. It’s also ideal for puppies involved in potty and crate training. “Swagger and Strut”
30-minute visit
A breath of fresh air, rain or shine, is always a welcomed change of pace. This service gives your dog a fun spin around the neighborhood and a chance to get in some healthy exercise while stopping to smell the roses.
This service includes a 20-minute active pace walk and potty break for one or two dogs at the same time. In addition, we can include 10 minutes of playtime with their favorite toys. Click here for rates.
“Luxurious Outing”
45-minute visit
For active (or downright spoiled!) dogs who need to burn off some energy before getting in a nice long nap before their family returns, this is the perfect option. They’ll get plenty of exercise and some quality
company time.
This service includes a long walk through the neighborhood or a trip to your local dog park for one or two dogs at the same time. We include playtime such as a romp with their canine buddies at the park, a hearty game of fetch, or one-on-one time with their Animal Care Companion. Click here for rates.
“Nirvana”
60-minute visit
A doggie dream come true! Our ultimate package is especially created for dogs that need extended company and/or exercise during the day. It’s perfect for a dog with separation anxiety or a love bug who can’t get enough play or cuddle time.
This service includes an extra long walk in the neighborhood or an extended trip to your local dog park. Your dog will have a tail-wagging time playing fetch or tug-of-war with pals at the park, or their Animal Care Companion. They will also get a nice doggie massage or brush before being tucked into bed with their favorite treat for their morning or afternoon nap. Click here for rates.
Longer Daily Services Available
We can customize a package to suit you and your pet’s specific needs, whether it be a two-hour visit so that you can take in a movie with your friends and don’t want to leave your pet alone, or an afternoon visit so that you can spend some quality time with your family at the beach,
for example.

Services for Cats and other Animals
“Double Day”
Two 15-minute visits a day (total 30-min/day)
Cats and other critters need attention and affection throughout the day, and Portland Mutt Strut can help fill in for you while you’re away from home. We love giving your pets exactly what they need, whether it’s entertaining your tabby with her favorite cat toy, bathing your bird with a refreshing light shower, or treating your iguana to a supervised soak in the sun.
This service is two 15-minute visits for a total of 30 minutes each day. This includes feeding and clean-up in the morning, and feeding and playtime in the afternoon, depending on your routine.

“Just Once a Day”
One 15-minute visit a day
Your pets will enjoy the same care included in our “Double Day” service during one visit per day, whenever you prefer.

Note: Both services listed above are only available within a ten mile radius of home base (Rose City Park neighborhood). Please contact us for exceptions.
Very Special Note: Some clients have asked for “every other day” visits. However Portland Mutt Strut does not offer this service due to our concern for your pet, as well as that we cannot be held medically responsible for a pet we see just every other day. In case of a medical emergency, we need to be able to tend to your pet right away and address their needs immediately, which we can only do with daily visits.

Overnight/Weekend/Vacation Services
Overnight Sleepover
12-hour visit overnight
Here’s the perfect solution when you’re gone for the night, but don’t want to board your pets. Your Animal Care Companion will spend the night in your home and will walk and/or entertain all of your family pets. Next to you, we’ll provide the best company they can get, so you and they can rest easy. Best of all, we are there the entire 12-hours so that your pet will not be bored or lonely.
Service is usually provided between 7 pm and 7 am (12-hours); however, we can alter that schedule to fit your routine and needs and add time at the beginning of the evening or at the end of the morning at a minimal additional cost. Each visit includes a 20-min AM walk and a 20-min PM walk. Midday walk, if desired, is quoted at regular rates.

Weekend Sleepover
Two (2) 12-hour overnight visits in your home
Imagine a guilt-free getaway! With this extended plan, your Animal Care Companion will spend two nights in your home caring for your animals, watering your plants, cleaning up poop in the yard, retrieving newspapers and mail and adjusting drapes and lights. You’ll feel secure that your home has that “lived-in look” while you’re away, and your family pets will be much more comfortable enjoying their regular routines at home.
As with the “Overnight Sleepover,” service is usually provided between 7 pm and 7 am (12-hours); however, we can alter that schedule to fit your routine and needs and add time at the beginning of the evening or at the end of the morning at a minimal additional cost. Each visit includes a 20-min AM walk and a 20-min PM walk. Midday walk, if desired, is quoted at regular rates. Click here for rates.
