Mountain Phoenix Coffee Roasters searches the world for the best coffee from the best sources and roasts it in small batches to its absolute perfection. Our high altitude roaster is located at 7,500 feet of elevation in Poncha Springs, Colorado. Roasting at high altitude ensures an artfully crafted batch preserving all the coffee's essential oils and freshness.

We seek out fair trade, shade grown, and sustainable sources as much as we can. It's our goal to apply ethical business practices as well as exceed expectations when it comes to great coffee.

The Mountain Phoenix Roastery and Coffee Shop is in Poncha Springs, right next to Mountain Sports Haus; the A-frame ski shop near the intersection of Highway 285 and Highway 50. Come in for your daily fix of fresh roasted 100% certified organic espresso, coffee, tea and delicious baked goods.

Mountain Phoenix Coffee is served at fine establishments around Salida, including Sacred Ground Coffee and Salida Cafe and Roastery. You can purchase bulk beans at various locations around the state.

You can also order online! Have a fresh supply of Mountain Phoenix Coffee delivered right to your door! We roast on Mondays and Tuesdays. Order on roast days, or the weekend, to make sure we have your favorites available.
