Early detection is best
Although healthy teeth can be moved at almost any age, we recommend that children get an orthodontic exam by age seven.
Most children will not need treatment, but its best to detect and evaluate problems early and determine the best time to treat them.

Dr. Espinosa ensures that you are well taken care of with regards to braces. When your smile is our top priority we dedicate ourselves to providing you a variety of ways to improve and beautify.

If you have questions about our options please feel free to contact us to discuss what might work best for you and your lifestyle.

spacer Are crooked and crowded teeth ruining your smile? Have you experienced excessive tooth decay, gum disease, or jaw pain? Do you find it difficult to properly clean your teeth and gums?

Correcting your bite problems with braces may be the answer!

Because of advances in modern orthodontia techniques, treatment time is shorter and materials have been improved so that braces are more comfortable, less noticeable, and more affordable than ever before.

Expect Success

In order for braces to do their work, everyone (the patient, hygienist and dentist) must stick to a dental treatment plan.

As your dentist, I will develop a custom plan of action that is meant to create your healthiest , most beautiful smile; your hygienist is available to teach you how to properly care for your teeth and new braces during treatment; and your job is to keep your appointments and carefully follow your daily care and cleaning regimen.

We offer braces in the following options for braces:

  • Adult 6 month braces
  • Ceramic braces
  • Comprehensive - Traditional braces

What to expect

Most patients wear braces from one to three years, depending on your particular needs, followed by a period of wearing a "retainer" that hold your teeth in their new positions.

Your braces are always designed with your maximum comfort in mind!

If you or your child wears braces

  • We often recommend the use of special toothbrushes, rinses and anti-plaque tablets to keep the teeth and gums sparkling clean
  • Brush often – preferably after every meal and snack
  • Buy new toothbrushes often (braces can wear down bristles easily)
  • If you can’t brush, rinse vigorously, after every meal or snack…no excuses!
  • Flossing helps remove food particles from between the teeth and gums. Your dentist may provide floss with a special “threader” to help with flossing
  •  Be on the lookout for food particles left behind and remove them quickly to avoid gum infections and tooth decay
